Hi, I’m Paula Martin, a Sydney-based freelance writer and self-proclaimed ‘scribe’ behind Wordsync Writing Services.
I’ve been in this business for a while now, starting out as a government policy writer some ten years ago. Here, it was my job to whip up planning documents, reports and user guides, newspaper advertisements and brochures for various local councils.
My introduction to the world of website content and copywriting, administration and online marketing occurred when I joined the private sector. During this time, I also worked for one of the Big Four accounting firms where I was given the (somewhat awesome) responsibility of maintaining an intranet site visible only to senior partners and board members. Strict adherence to standards, confidentiality and no margin for error was the order of the day.
