Time well spent
For the cost of a cup of coffee, an offshore content provider can give you a slab of ‘instant’ text. If you’re lucky, the writing will be grammatically correct, but can you say the same for the depth and tone of the piece? Is it informative, yet easy to digest? Is it catchy enough? Is it search engine friendly? Will it captivate your target market? This is the stuff I think about when I write for you.
Rates in brief
With the exception of ongoing project work, I charge a ‘per job’ rate for writing services. This transparent pricing structure better enables clients to budget for the work they need me to do:
- Web content and copywriting: Rates are set “per web page” and are based on word count, content type and the ‘baseline’ text provided upfront by the client. A typical web page up to 250 words costs between $50 – $80.
- Content uploading: Expect to pay between $15 – $45 per page depending on the word count.
- Marketing materials (including advertisements, brochures and flyers): A quote will be prepared based on individual client requirements.
- Proofreading and editing: The cost is $75 per 2000 words and includes checks for spelling consistency and grammatical errors, wordy or long paragraphs, writing style and tone, readability, accuracy of chapters, tables, figures, the bibliography and more.
- Web design: Ask about the range of premium, yet affordable and easily customised WordPress themes we use to design your website. A quote will be prepared based on individual client requirements.
Payment
A 50% deposit is required prior to the commencement of work. The balance owing is based on the final word count of the client approved text. For small jobs, full upfront payment may be required. Rates are quoted in Australian dollars (AUD) and are not subject to GST.
